'230 FIFTH,' an incredible new upscale venue on Fifth Avenue and 27th
Street in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. The venue (in a
Landmarked building) consists of two floors with 8,000 square feet of
enclosed space on the Penthouse floor and a magnificantly landscaped
14,000 square foot Penthouse Rooftop Garden with sweeping views of all
of Manhattan, the Hudson and East Rivers. Not only is the Rooftop
Garden Bar at '230 FIFTH' the largest in Manhattan, it exceeds in size
almost all other outdoor rooftop bars combined. This world class
designed venue also includes a very large, fully enclosed Penthouse bar
and lounge, a 50 seat upscale restaurant, as well as the ability to
have a seated dinner for from 25 people up to 600 people in the
enclosed space and up to 600 more on the Penthouse Rooftop Garden, or
cocktail receptions for anywhere from 25 people to up to 1,200 people.
The person behind this venue is Steven Greenberg, one of New York's
best known nightlife entrepreneurs, who, among other things, previously
owned or co-owned The Palladium, Roxy and The Cobalt Club in the
legendary Gramercy Park Hotel, a hotel he controlled.
